芦边拓先生谈“十戒”和“二十法则”

开始玩海猫EP7，发现龙骑士07又开始搞“范达因二十法则”了。于是好奇上推问了问芦边拓先生@ashibetaku对于“法则”和“十戒”的看法。早上一上推发现芦边先生用了N条信息谈了自己的看法。这里和大家分享一下。作为日语下手的初学者肯定有理解不正确或者翻得不顺的地方，请各位见谅并不吝赐教。 也感谢芦边先生允许我将原文和翻译发出来。

こういう掟ができた前提から申し上げます。当時、推理小説は怪奇・冒険・スリラーなどがごちゃまぜに語られていて、ようやく論理的な謎解きを主眼とするスタイルが確立し始めていました。これらの掟は、それを他と差別化するために必要とされたもので、その点、現代とは状況が違います。

首先从这些守则的成立前提说起。当时的推理小说可谓是怪奇、冒险、恐怖之类鱼龙混杂，渐渐地以逻辑谜题作为要点的风格开始确立。所以这些守则是为了与其他文体实现差别化而必需的，这一点和现代之状况有所不同。

次に「二十則」と「十戒」の違いについて。「二十則」の作者ヴァン・ダインは、美術ジャーナリストでしたから、本格ミステリという新興ジャンルを確立させる宣言として、こうしたものを作ったと推察されます。この中で主張されていることは、結局「フェアプレイ」に尽きます。

接下来是有关“二十法则”和“十戒”的不同点。“二十法则“的作者范·达因最初是文艺记者，据推测，创造此物是为了确立所谓本格Mystery小说的新兴流派的宣言。其主张为根本的公平竞争（fair play）。

一方、ノックス僧正の「十戒」は、イギリス流の皮肉とユーモアの産物で、推理小説のルールというよりマナーを示したものです。そこには、推理小説というものが絶えず新奇な趣向を求め、読者と競い合うあまり、自縄自縛に陥りがちなことも指摘されているように思えます。

另外一方面，诺克斯大师的“十戒”则是英国流派中讥讽和幽默的产物，亦是以推理小说的规则展示手法之物。如是，所谓的推理小说被批评说常常追求新奇的方案、同读者过度对抗而容易陷入作茧自缚的境地。

そのスピリットに学ぶ点は今も多々ありますが、こうした掟ができるのは、同時代の状況の反映です。二十則の「恋愛テーマ自粛」、十戒の「中国人登場禁止」などは、当時いかに推理そっちのけのメロドラマ展開や、インチキ東洋人が魔術を駆使する趣向が氾濫していたかの証拠に過ぎません。

时至今日此种精神的可借鉴之处仍颇多，故守则之成立其实是同时代的状况反映。“二十法则”中的“不可有恋爱主题”、“十戒”里的“不可有中国人登场”之类，不过是当时推理部分常被抛在一边而变成了爱情剧的展开，东方骗子运用魔法的情节泛滥等情况存在的证据而已。

1970年代終わり、ある大学の推理研が定めたルールには「中途半端に人生問題、社会問題を入れるべからず」の一項があったそうです。これなど、当時いかに男女の愛欲や勤め人の哀歓、企業の裏情報や内幕暴露をえんえん描いた小説が横行していたかがわからないと理解できないでしょう。

70年代末，某大学的推理研定下的规则中有一项曾是“半吊子人生问题、社会问题绝不可取”。这样一来，不就可以知道并且理解当时横行的都是没完没了地描写男女间爱情、勤奋之人的悲欢、企业内部情报披露等内容的小说了吗。

要するに二十則も十戒も、80年以上前の産物ですから、そのまま受け取る必要はない。ただ、本格推理が、どんな風に他ジャンルと区別されつつ誕生し、何が興味の中核で、どの部分を受け継ぐべきか考えるうえでは今も価値があると思います。当たり前すぎる結論でお恥ずかしいですが……。

须知无论是“二十守则”还是“十戒”，都是八十多年前的产物，无需就此全盘接受。但是本格推理既然有别于其他流派而诞生，什么是兴趣的核心，哪些部分一定要继承下来则是需要考虑的，这些方面上时至今日依然有价值的部分还是有的。如此过于普通的结论，很不好意思……。
